Last week, MrSpinner had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Middletown Grange Fair—our biggest event to date! Over the course of the five-day event, we had the chance to interact with hundreds of people, showcasing our diverse range of 3D-printed toys and the quality that MrSpinner always strives to provide. It was an amazing experience to connect with our community, share our story, and see the excitement in the eyes of children and adults alike as they explored our unique offerings.
Bringing Our Vision to Life
Our goal at MrSpinner has always been ambitious: to turn 3D-printed toys into a toy store model, offering a variety of products from different designers and covering multiple categories—from animals and vehicles to paint sets and dinosaurs. It was so rewarding to see this vision come to life at the Grange Fair. Our booth was filled with colorful displays of our toys, and it was so much fun to watch children, and their families explore the different options, ask questions, and learn more about the art and technology behind 3D printing.
Discovering a New Level of Impact
At MrSpinner, I always knew people would have fun playing with our toys, but one thing I wasn't expecting—and which fills my heart—is how much people gravitate toward the fidget feature of the majority of our toys. Seeing our products being used as a form of therapy or to bring calm and focus to people was both surprising and deeply rewarding. This takes the concept of a "toy" to a whole new level, adding a meaningful dimension that I hadn't anticipated. Moving forward, we will be looking to add more toys that provide sensory stimulation for our customers, further expanding the benefits our products offer.
Favorite Memories from the Week
We have so many cherished memories from the fair, but a few highlights stand out:
- Meeting New People: We loved meeting so many new faces and sharing our passion for 3D-printed toys. It was wonderful to introduce our products to a broader audience and make new connections.
- Seeing Repeat Customers: It was incredibly rewarding to see familiar faces and hear from repeat customers how much they love their toys. Knowing our creations are enjoyed long after they leave our booth means the world to us.
- Surprising Visitors with 3D Printing: We enjoyed watching the surprise on people’s faces when they discovered that our toys were 3D printed. Explaining the process and seeing their reactions was a highlight!
- Watching Kids Play: My absolute favorite memory of the week was watching children play with our toys. Seeing their joy, curiosity, and creativity was the highlight of our week and reminded us why we do what we do.
- Connecting with Fellow Vendors: As the "new kids on the block," we had the chance to meet some amazing fellow vendors. It was great to be welcomed into such a supportive community and to learn from those who have been doing this for years. The camaraderie and shared experiences made us feel right at home.
Looking Ahead
The Middletown Grange Fair was a fantastic experience for MrSpinner, and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who stopped by our booth. This event has inspired us to continue expanding our product line and refining our manufacturing to ensure a strong, durable product.
